Gaining permission to film

Before filming our music video we had already decided that we wanted to film in Brighton, as this was a specific location that required a whole day dedicated to filming in, it was clear that we would need a day on which all members of the group and actors were available. After discussing the issue with each other and our teachers we decided a school day on which we had a double media lesson was the best option, and this way we would only miss one or two other lessons. Our teacher asked us to email her the details of teachers whose lessons we would be absent from in order for her to arrange our absence with them.

Here are some copies of the emails a group member sent to our teacher to organise filming:

This email explains details of the situation including what we needed to film, the filming schedule and the target date to have started filming.

The emails above contain details of each group member's lessons that they would miss on the day of filming so that our teacher could get permission from those teachers for us to be absent from lesson in order for us to have a day of filming.
The replies our teacher gave us were not via email, and so it is not possible to provide copies of these. Instead our teacher organised the filming with our other teachers and spoke to our group during classes.
